Ghanaian rapper Amerado, also known as Derrick Sarfo Kantanka, was rushed to the hospital after a stage collapse during his performance at Baidoo Bonsoe Senior High Technical School.
The incident, captured in a viral video on social media, caused severe injuries to the artist. Amerado, who recently returned from the USA, was performing when the stage caved in, prompting an evacuation of the venue.
He is currently receiving treatment at the Effia Nkwanta Government Hospital. Amerado, known for his recent release “TinTonTin” and nominations at the 2024 Telecel Ghana Music Awards, is expected to recover from the accident.
