India’s leading humanitarian organization, the Chinmaya Foundation has continued to place highly on raising awareness about Covid-19 and distributing relief food and materials in the country’s most affected communities. From March 22, 2020, the foundation has served several thousand of Indians through provision of commodities such as soap, sanitizers, ORS, baking powder including clothes and food.

Continuing with its community work, the Chinmaya Foundation conducted the Covid-19 awareness campaign for 15 consecutive days in Dasarathpur area.

leading the campaign program which also involved the distribution of clothes, food, soap including masks, hand sanitizers and O.R.S, was the foundation national chairperson, Mr.Chinmaya Dash and the foundation secretary Mr. Shashikanta Nayak.

At the help of other foundation members including vice-chairman, Mr.Surendra Pandab, assistant secretary, Bhikari Charan Mallick and the treasurer, Ms Madhusmita Nayak, the campaign extended to nearby villages namely: Kenduakul, Dakhinbandha, Garadiha, Narigan, Palatapur, Sana kuanla and Bada Kuanla .
