Abdulwahab Magaji, a Nigeria Customs Service officer, tragically took his own life at his residence in Abuja’s Farm Estate area.
The incident, which occurred last Monday, saw Magaji reportedly shooting himself with a rifle. Police responded to the family’s alarm and rushed Magaji to Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The deceased’s body has been handed over to the family for burial according to Islamic rites.
Efforts to obtain comments from the FCT Police Public Relations Officer and the Customs National Public Relations Officer were unsuccessful at the time of reporting.
