Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi issued a stark warning to Israel, stating that any attack on Iranian territory could lead to the destruction of the “Zionist regime.”
Raisi made these remarks during a visit to Pakistan, where he also pledged to enhance trade between the two nations. The tension between Iran and Israel escalated recently, with Iran launching missiles and drones at Israel in retaliation for an alleged Israeli strike in Damascus.
Despite the heightened tensions, both countries have refrained from direct confrontation. Raisi also reaffirmed Iran’s support for Palestinian resistance against Israel.
