During their honeymoon in Mpumalanga, South Africa, a 40-year-old groom filed for divorce from his 35-year-old wife after seeing her without makeup for the first time.
The groom felt deceived by his wife’s extensive use of makeup, including false eyelashes, to enhance her appearance.
The revelation occurred when their makeup washed off while swimming, revealing the bride’s natural face, which had also undergone cosmetic surgery. The bride sought counseling to cope with the divorce aftermath.
