Premier League powerhouses Arsenal and Chelsea, along with French giants Paris Saint Germain, are vying to sign Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, offering a staggering £250,000 per week salary, reports British journalist Ben Jacobs.
This potential deal would shatter records, making Osimhen the highest-paid Nigerian player in European club football history. Despite a release clause of about €130 million in his Napoli contract, Osimhen is likely to leave the Italian club this summer, with his preferred destination being the Premier League.
PSG remains a strong contender, especially with Kylian Mbappe’s potential departure freeing up funds. Osimhen’s current contract with Napoli expires in 2026, but a move this summer seems imminent.
