Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has announced that the implementation of the Ghana Card has led to a significant reduction in corruption in the country.
Speaking at the 14th Regional Conference of Heads of Anti-Corruption Agencies in Accra, Dr. Bawumia emphasized that the biometrically enabled Ghana Card allows for better tracking of individuals involved in corrupt activities.
By integrating the card with various systems like bank accounts, sim cards, and tax records, it has become easier to prevent money laundering and other cyber crimes.
