Israel has vehemently denied any involvement in the helicopter crash that claimed the lives of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, and other senior officials.

Despite speculation and social media finger-pointing, Iran has not officially accused Israel. The crash, occurring in adverse weather while returning from Azerbaijan, an Israeli ally, has fueled suspicions.

However, an unnamed Israeli government source has refuted any involvement, emphasizing, “It wasn’t us.” The incident exacerbates already strained relations between the two nations amid ongoing conflicts in Gaza and Lebanon.
