The Doka Community in Kaduna has petitioned Governor Uba Sani to launch a full investigation into the brutal killing of 16-year-old Ahmed Musa, a Senior Secondary Two (SS2) student at Government Technical College, Malali. The young student’s body was found on February 16, 2025, bearing signs of severe abuse and strangulation.

His father, Comrade Musa Muhammed, a journalist and activist, confirmed the death, stating, “Ahmed Musa’s body was found within the school premises, with physical signs of brutalisation and strangulation.” He further called for a thorough inquiry and justice for his son, demanding that the perpetrators be brought to account.

In the petition, the Kaduna Doka Development Association (KDDA) expressed deep sorrow over the incident, saying, “The loss of such a promising young life is a tragedy that no family should have to endure.”

The community members also urged for stronger measures to ensure the safety of students, emphasizing, “We urge you to prioritize the safety and security of our citizens, especially in educational institutions, where young lives should be nurtured and protected.”

The police have acknowledged the incident, with DSP Mansir Hassan, spokesperson for the Police Command, confirming the investigation: “Yes, we are investigating the matter. The Commissioner of Police has directed a full investigation into the issue.”
