The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State has accused Governor Ademola Adeleke of contract fraud, alleging that he awarded multibillion-naira infrastructural projects to his elder brother, Deji Adeleke, and his son, Davido, among others.
The party has called for investigations by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC).
This comes amidst claims of conflict of interest and misuse of public funds. Adeleke’s party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), however, defends his administration, stating transparency and accountability in governance.
