Less than a week after its construction by Governor Chukwuma Soludo, the Ochanja Market Road in Woliwo community, Onitsha South local government area of Anambra State, was washed away by an afternoon downpour.
Residents expressed concerns over the poor quality of the construction despite significant taxpayer funding. The incident has raised questions about the durability of other projects executed by the state government. So far, there has been no response from the government regarding the viral video showing the extent of the damage.
