Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu, former Minister of Science and Technology during President Buhari’s tenure and the first civilian governor of Abia State, has died at the age of 72.
He succumbed to a brief illness in a Nigerian hospital. Onu, a notable Nigerian politician and author, served until his demise in April 2024.
