Gunmen attacked the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital in Enugu State, kidnapping a female deputy director and a security guard.

An SUV allegedly belonging to the abducted woman was found abandoned with bullet holes. This incident occurred in the same location where a medical doctor was abducted recently. The Enugu State Police Command and the hospital management had yet to confirm the attack.

Additionally, bandits in Kaduna State demanded a hefty ransom of 40 trillion naira, 11 Hilux vans, and 150 motorcycles for the release of 16 captives from the Gonin Gora region.
