In Umunneochi, Abia State, a grim discovery was made near Lokpanta Cattle Market: 50 decomposed bodies, 20 headless corpses, and numerous human skeletons. Governor Dr. Alex Otti revealed this during his October media chat, citing security concerns. The market will be transformed into a daily general market with improved security measures, operational from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. A protective fence is also in the works to address these issues.
