Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage has responded directly to an Instagram user who claimed she does not look as attractive in person as she does in photos. The exchange, which took place on social media, has drawn widespread attention and sparked a flurry of reactions online.

The incident began when a user with the handle “nutefobayo” commented on one of Savage’s Instagram posts, writing: “Pictures dey make some people fine. Tiwa is not this beautiful in real life.” The comment implied that her appearance is enhanced by photography and filters.

In response, Tiwa Savage wrote: “I’m even better in real life.” She also added that the commenter probably wants to meet her but would never admit it out of embarrassment.

Her reply quickly gained support from fans, many of whom praised her confidence and defended her against the negative comment.

The back-and-forth has since gone viral, reigniting discussion about how celebrities are perceived online versus in person, and how public figures handle criticism.
