Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) has announced its readiness to strike indefinitely if the Federal Government does nothing to allay the sufferings of Nigerians consequent upon the fuel subsidy removal by Tinubu led administration. The Union expression their disapproval with the palliative resorted to by the Federal Government which they termed “inadequate”. The National Assistant general secretary of NLC, Mr Christopher Onyeka has criticised the FG of its failure to cushion the effect of subsidy removal and slighting Nigerians by sharing a bag of rice to a dozen of Nigerians. According to him, the FG has finked out on setting up functional committee for negotiation with NLC and effective allotment of the palliative. He decried the poor condition of civil servants in Nigeria, who have resorted to skipping work, working from home and leaving country due to high cost living. He therefore enjoined Nigerians to cooperate with the Union to ensure government’s accountability and responsibility. #OMAGIST@AFRICAWORLDNEWS
