Security forces have successfully recaptured fifty out of the one hundred and eighteen inmates who fled from the Suleja Correctional Centre in Niger state.
The escape occurred on Wednesday night following the collapse of the perimeter fence. Thanks to joint efforts between security operatives and community members, these inmates have been apprehended. Measures are being taken to reinforce security in the area and prevent future incidents.
