Amidst widespread economic challenges, the Federal Government of Nigeria has publicly apologized for the hardships faced by citizens due to inflation and currency devaluation.
During a press conference marking President Tinubu’s one-year anniversary in office, Minister of Budget and Economic Planning Atiku Bagudu acknowledged the adverse effects of government policies. He emphasized that these measures, part of the “Renewed Hope Agenda,” are necessary for long-term economic stability and growth.
Bagudu reiterated the government’s commitment to reviewing social investment programs to mitigate the impact on the populace.
