South African TV personality Shamiso Mosaka found herself at the center of a controversy after being removed from a CemAir flight from Durban to Johannesburg due to what airline officials described as “unruly” behavior.

The incident, which occurred on a recent flight, resulted in a 90-minute delay as the pilot was forced to stop the engines.

Mosaka, known for her presence on MTV Base South Africa and her sizable Instagram following, documented the incident on Instagram Live, where she expressed frustration and alleged racial discrimination as the reason for her removal.

In the video, Mosaka can be seen refusing to leave the aircraft until she is promised another flight.

However, CemAir officials deny any racial profiling, asserting that Mosaka’s removal was prompted by her failure to adhere to airline regulations.

The airline maintains that Mosaka’s behavior disrupted the flight and jeopardized the safety and comfort of other passengers.

The incident highlights the challenges airlines face in managing disruptive passengers and ensuring the smooth operation of flights.

While Mosaka’s allegations of racial motivation have stirred debate online, CemAir emphasizes the importance of enforcing rules and procedures to maintain order and safety onboard their aircraft.
