In a recent speech, Kemi Badenoch, leader of the UK Conservative Party, declared that the United Kingdom is not a “hotel” for immigrants, particularly those from Nigeria and other countries.

She emphasized that the UK has made past mistakes but cannot continue to admit millions of immigrants. “Our country is our home; it is not a hotel,” Badenoch said, stressing that immigrants who do not wish to integrate into British culture should reconsider settling in the UK.

Badenoch, who migrated from Nigeria herself at 16, cautioned against Britain becoming like Nigeria, where poor governance affects people’s lives. She called for a new leadership to address structural issues and strengthen the country’s immigration policies.

Despite facing criticism from some, including Nigel Farage, who mocked the size of her audience, Badenoch stood firm on her stance against unchecked immigration.
