Leicester City winger Abdul Fatawu has been ruled out for the season following a severe knee injury sustained during international duty with Ghana. The 20-year-old suffered an ACL injury in Ghana’s 1-1 draw against Angola.
Leicester manager Steve Cooper confirmed the injury, calling it “a serious blow” for both Fatawu and the team. Despite the setback, Cooper remains optimistic about the young player’s future, noting his “mentality and character” and expressing confidence that Fatawu will return stronger after recovery.
It is always tough to see a young talent face such a serious injury, but Fatawu’s resilience could see him bounce back even stronger.
