Chelsea’s Lesley Ugochukwu, the talented midfielder with dual French-Nigerian nationality, recently embarked on a heartwarming journey to reconnect with his roots in Nigeria.

Ugochukwu, 19, took to social media to share glimpses of his visit, showcasing moments spent with his family in Nigeria, a testament to his strong ties to the country of his heritage.

Born in France but deeply connected to his Nigerian lineage, Ugochukwu is the nephew of former Super Eagles defender, Apam Onyekachi, adding a rich footballing legacy to his family tree.

Having represented France at various youth levels, including U-18, U-19, and U-21, Ugochukwu’s journey in football took a significant turn when he joined Chelsea last summer from Ligue 1 club, Stade Rennes.
