Donald Trump has once again proposed that Canada should merge with the United States following Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s resignation.
In a social media post on Monday, Trump argued that a merger would eliminate tariffs, reduce taxes, and provide greater security from global threats.
“If Canada merged with the US, there would be no Tariffs, taxes would go way down, and they would be TOTALLY SECURE from the threat of the Russian and Chinese ships that are constantly surrounding them,” Trump stated. He continued, “Together, what a great Nation it would be!!!”
