Ten teams have now qualified for the Round of 16 at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, following the conclusion of recent group stage matches played on Tuesday and early Wednesday.

Benfica secured their place in the knockout stage after a 1-0 win over Bayern Munich. Andreas Schjelderup scored the only goal of the match in the first half, sending the Portuguese side through. Despite the loss, Bayern had already guaranteed their place in the next round.

Chelsea also confirmed qualification with a convincing 3-0 victory over ES Tunis. Goals from Tosin Adarabioyo, Liam Delap, and Tyrique George sealed the result for the Premier League club.

With these outcomes, Chelsea and Benfica become the latest teams to reach the last 16. They join Inter Miami, Palmeiras, Paris Saint-Germain, Flamengo, Botafogo, Juventus, Manchester City, and Bayern Munich in the next round of the competition.
