The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has reopened investigations into money laundering cases involving 13 former governors and ex-ministers, totaling N853.8bn.

Notable figures include Kayode Fayemi, Ayo Fayose, Bello Matawalle, Chimaroke Nnamani, Sullivan Chime, Abdullahi Adamu, Rabiu Kwankwaso, and others. Allegations range from N4bn fraud to N551bn money laundering, with ongoing probes into the high-profile cases.
