Anybody Voting Peter Obi Is Voting Tinubu — Okonkwo’s Explosive 2027 Warning
A chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Kenneth Okonkwo, has ignited fresh political debate ahead of 2027 after warning that opposition fragmentation could hand victory to President Bola Tinubu.
Speaking in an interview on Symfoni TV, the former Labour Party spokesman argued that a divided opposition vote would ultimately strengthen the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), making it difficult to mount a serious challenge in the next general election.
He said opposition leaders must prioritise unity and coordinate their strategy if they hope to remain competitive, stressing that internal disagreements and parallel ambitions are weakening their electoral strength.
Okonkwo also criticised ongoing coalition discussions, insisting that political ambition should be tested through proper party structures and primaries rather than fragmented alignments.
Reiterating his position, he declared: “anybody voting any vote whatsoever to Peter Obi, you’re voting for Tinubu…”
He urged opposition blocs to rethink their approach and close ranks ahead of the 2027 presidential contest.
