VIDEO: Harry B Issues Emotional Call as Veteran Nollywood Actress Faces Difficult Time
Veteran Nollywood actor and musician Harry B Anyanwu has called on members of the film industry and compassionate Nigerians to rally around veteran actress Maureen Okpoko during what he described as a challenging period in her life.
Speaking in a video shared online, Harry B said he was with the actress in Enugu as he urged colleagues and fans not to turn their backs on one of Nollywood’s respected figures.
The actor described Okpoko as a woman of “inestimable value” and appealed for financial and moral support to help her access the medical attention she needs, expressing confidence that her condition could still improve.
“I am right here in Enugu with my sister of inestimable value, Maureen Okpoko. Nollywood, let’s reach out to her and support her. She’s blind, but she can restore her sight,” Harry B said.
The video has since generated widespread reactions on social media, with many Nigerians echoing his appeal and urging the entertainment industry to unite in support of the veteran actress.
