“Let Him Go Back to Primary School Online” — Sowore Mocks Tinubu’s Credentials
The presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), Omoyele Sowore, has taken another swipe at President Bola Tinubu over the educational credentials submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Sowore made the remarks on Monday after proceedings in his defamation case involving the president at the Federal High Court in Abuja, where he questioned the information contained in Tinubu’s documents filed with the electoral body.
According to the activist, the president should take advantage of adult education, insisting that it is not too late to return to school.
“President Tinubu didn’t go to primary and secondary school. He only presented a paper from Chicago State University, which was different from the paper he presented in 1999.
“I’m advising him that it’s not too late to take advantage of adult education. Let him go back to primary school online,” Sowore said.
Sowore argued that Tinubu did not include details of his primary and secondary education in the educational qualifications section of the personal particulars submitted to INEC for the 2027 presidential election.
The comments have added fresh momentum to the long-running debate surrounding the president’s academic records, an issue that has repeatedly generated political and legal controversy over the years.
