On Monday, a federal high court in Abuja dismissed the N1 billion lawsuit filed by Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), against the federal government and the Department of State Services (DSS).
Presiding Judge James Omotosho ruled that Kanu failed to provide credible evidence to support his claims of fundamental rights violations, including allegations of being denied access to his lawyers and having his conversations with them eavesdropped on by DSS operatives.
