Alhaji Musiliu Akinsanya, also known as MC Oluomo, has been appointed as the acting Zonal Chairman of the Southwest Zone 2 of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW). This decision was unanimous at the Zonal Quadrennial Delegate Conference held in Osogbo, Osun State. Akinsanya will serve as acting chairman until the election in two weeks. The conference also praised Ekiti and Lagos states for their support and postponed the delegate election to October 19, 2023. This appointment was necessitated by the absence of Zonal Chairman Chief Olalekan Folorunsho. Delegates also called for the lifting of bans in Osun, Oyo, and Ondo States. Akinsanya pledged to dedicate himself to the union’s progress and unity. #OMAGIST@AFRICAWORLDNEWS*
