Authorities in South Africa have seized assets belonging to the Gupta family, two days after writing to Interpol in request to help arresting the family in question.

This is in a matter where the Gupta Brothers have allegedly expanded their business interests through their close relations with former South African president Jacob Zuma.

Zuma was removed from power amidst accussations of having sold executive power to the controversial family whose ties to top government officials have been examined in the Zondo Commission of inquiry probing the alleged State capture.
