Victims of a political attack by suspected ruling Patriotic Front (PF) cadres have been left homeless after their houses were demolished in the capital Lusaka’s Missis compound.
Local tabloids reported Sunday that victims were seeking refuge following a well-calculated attack by unruly men who were dressed in green outfits.
The victim who sought anonymity told AfricaWorld Reports that their house was attacked on Saturday after she and her friends refused to collect PF chitenge materials on Friday.
“Yes, they promised to deal with us after we refused to collect chitenge materials on Friday during their door to door campaigns.”
Elina Chanda, one of the severely injured victims, sustained thigh and genital injuries after being stabbed.
And another Victim Lackson Sakala was left bed ridden after being hit with an iron bar by the alleged ruling party men.
The local Diamond TV say 13 people are nursing serious injuries following the attack.
Meanwhile Police have launched investigations into the attack to calm victims and as history bears, nothing will happen to attackers if truly they belong to the ruling party.
