Each time history repeats itself, the price goes up. The idea here is that when historical events or trends recur, their impact or value increases over time. Again, it equally means that the demand or significance of certain occurrences or assets grows as they repeat.

Below are some historical events you have probably not come across before

On this day in 2013, protests began around Egypt against President Mohamed Morsi and the ruling Freedom and Justice Party, leading to their overthrow during the 2013 Egyptian coup d’état.

Again on this day in 1989, a coup d’état in Sudan depose the democratically elected government of Prime Minister Sadiq al-Mahdi and President Ahmed al-Mirghani.

It was on this day in 1937 that the world’s first emergency telephone number, 999, is introduced in London.

On this day in 1859, French acrobat Charles Blondin crossed Niagara Falls on a tightrope.

Still on this day in 1860, the 1860 Oxford evolution debate at the Oxford University Museum of Natural History takes place.

In 1882 on this day, Charles J. Guiteau is hanged in Washington, D.C. for the assassination of U.S. President James Garfield.

In 2019 obviously on this day, Donald Trump became the first sitting US President to visit the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (North Korea).

Today is World Asteroid Day (also known as International Asteroid Day). For the resources, it is an annual global event which is held on June 30, the anniversary of the Tunguska event in 1908 when a meteor air burst levelled about 2,150 km2 (830 sq mi) of forest in Siberia, Russia.
