President Edgar Lungu who is also presidential candidate for the ruling Patriotic Front -PF- has said he will not accept defeat should he lose today’s elections.

Speaking, Wednesday, at the party’s last virtual rally ahead of the polls, Lungu said he will not accept defeat if the electoral outcome does not favor him adding that he will win by 500, 000 votes.

Lungu said his rival Hakainde Hichilema was headed for another defeat explaining that Zambians had decided to retain the PF in power.

In recent weeks, the PF through its Secretary General revealed that it had assembled a team of lawyers to challenge a possible opposition victory.

Zambians are voting for the next president, national assembly and local government.
