Doris Ogala Reunites with Ex-Husband as Pastor Chris Saga Deepens
Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has made a surprise turn in her long-running public drama after reconciling with her estranged husband, even as her bitter feud with Lagos-based cleric Pastor Chris Okafor continues to dominate headlines.
A video that surfaced online on Saturday captured an emotional moment between the actress and her former partner.
In the clip, Ogala is seen kneeling to apologise before they embraced, holding each other for several seconds as onlookers watched.
The reconciliation comes weeks after Ogala revealed that her marriage collapsed during her alleged eight-year relationship with Pastor Okafor, founder of Grace Nation International, also known as Liberation City.
She had earlier claimed she walked out of her marriage because of her involvement with the pastor.
Since then, the actress has repeatedly accused the clergyman of abandoning her to marry another woman, sparking a public war of words that has played out across social media and news platforms.
The controversy took a legal turn when Ogala was arrested by the Lagos State Police over alleged defamation.
She later disclosed that Pastor Okafor met her privately at the station and appealed for forgiveness. According to her, part of the peace move included a promise to provide her with a house.
However, the truce was short-lived. Days later, the actress accused the pastor of offering her only $10,000, which she rejected, vowing to reveal what she described as his hidden dealings.
The escalating allegations forced Pastor Okafor to temporarily step down from the pulpit, handing over church leadership to pastors under him. He has also been invited by the police for questioning as investigations continue.
While the pastor battles mounting pressure, Ogala’s reunion with her ex-husband has added a fresh twist to a story already filled with drama, emotion and public scrutiny.
For now, the actress appears to be closing one chapter of her life, even as another remains wide open in the court of public opinion.
