Police are working to recover the body of a 30-year-old man, identified as Samuel, who allegedly drowned during a prayer session at Elegushi Beach in Lagos.
The incident was reported to the Ilasan Police Division early Tuesday morning. Samuel and his friends had traveled from Igbesan, Ogun, to the beach for prayers. Efforts by divers to retrieve his body are ongoing, and the family has been notified as the investigation continues.
