BBNaija Winner Mercy Eke Opens Up on Why She Is Yet to Get Married

Former Big Brother Naija winner Mercy Eke has shared why finding a life partner has not been easy, saying fame has brought unexpected challenges to her personal life.

The reality TV star made the revelation during a conversation with media personality Toke Makinwa, where she reflected on love, relationships and life after winning the popular reality show.

Mercy admitted that although BBNaija changed her life for the better, she sometimes wishes she had not gone on the show because of its effect on her relationships.

“I regret going to Big Brother, even though I love the benefits that came with it,” she said.

She explained that financial differences have also affected some of her past relationships, revealing that she had supported more than one former partner with money because they were struggling.

Expressing her desire to settle down, Mercy said getting married has proved more difficult than she expected.

“I dey fall in love like mumu. Now I keep saying I want to marry, but it’s not easy. I have dated guys that I have given a lot of money to, not one, not two, because they didn’t have,” she said.

Her remarks have generated widespread reactions online, with many social media users weighing in on the realities of fame, finances and modern relationships.
