Fresh Twist in BBNaija Ilebaye’s Viral Family Drama as Mother Shares Disturbing Details
New revelations have emerged in the ongoing family controversy surrounding Ilebaye Odiniya after her mother, Lami Odiniya, confirmed that the reality star’s father has been released from police custody following the circulation of a disturbing viral video online.
The incident, which sparked widespread concern on social media, reportedly began when Ilebaye visited her father’s residence to see her younger brothers and discuss plans ahead of her 24th birthday.
According to her mother, the conversation suddenly turned heated after Emmanuel Odiniya allegedly accused the BBNaija star of being influenced against him.
A video from the confrontation later surfaced online, showing Ilebaye visibly distressed with a swollen face, while her father stood nearby.
The footage quickly triggered reactions from fans and supporters, many of whom demanded answers over the reality star’s condition.
Speaking on the incident, Lami disclosed that Emmanuel was initially detained at the Wuye Divisional Police Station in Abuja after the video went viral.
She also revealed that their two sons, aged 11 and 14, were temporarily handed over to her following the arrest.
However, according to her, the boys were later returned to their father after police referenced an existing court ruling granting him custody following the collapse of the couple’s 32-year marriage.
Lami further dismissed rumours circulating online that Ilebaye was under the influence of drugs during the confrontation.
She maintained that the reality TV star was taken to the hospital for treatment and later discharged after receiving medical attention.
