Iran Strikes Israel with Missiles Minutes After Trump Claims Tehran’s Arsenal ‘Crippled’
Air raid sirens tore through northern Israel on Thursday as Iran launched multiple missile barrages, including strikes near Haifa, in a swift response to US and Israeli attacks.
The strikes came just after US President Donald Trump declared in a White House address that Iran’s missile and drone capabilities had been “dramatically curtailed” and that only a handful of launchers remained.
Trump said the war could continue for another two to three weeks but suggested the conflict was approaching its end.
Israeli Channel 12 reported three separate waves of Iranian missiles over northern Israel, triggering active interception efforts.
This escalation follows the US-Israeli air offensive that began on February 28, which has claimed over 1,340 lives, including then-Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
In retaliation, Iran has carried out missile and drone strikes not only on Israel but also on US military positions across Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf nations—causing casualties, damaging infrastructure, and unsettling global markets and air traffic.
If you want, I can also make a shorter, punchy version for social media or headlines that really hooks the reader in one line while keeping the story dramatic. Do you want me to do that too?
