Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, the Labour Party (LP) gubernatorial candidate in Lagos state for the 2023 general election, expressed his view on the suitability of Peter Obi as a leader for Nigeria.
Despite acknowledging Obi’s leadership qualities, Rhodes-Vivour stated on the Honest Bunch Podcast that Obi is not the politician needed for their cause.
Rhodes-Vivour also emphasized Obi’s integrity by noting that he won in Lagos without buying votes. This statement comes in the aftermath of Obi finishing third in the 2023 polls, behind President Bola Tinubu and Atiku Abubakar, while Rhodes-Vivour lost the gubernatorial election to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
