Peter Obi, the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, spoke at an event celebrating Black History Month at Oxford University. He stated that despite the Supreme Court’s decision affirming President Tinubu’s victory, he will not stop seeking elective office until he tackles issues in Nigeria. Obi mentioned his financial investment and fulfillment in joining politics in 2003. He expressed his determination to continue working to “dismantle the crime scene” in Nigeria. Additionally, he emphasized the need for strong leadership to develop Africa and the continent’s untapped potential. Obi declined to comment on the recent Supreme Court judgement, stating he would write down his thoughts later.
