The National President of the Nigeria Labour Congress, Joe Ajaero, was brutally attacked during a rally protest in Owerri, Imo State. He sustained injuries and has been referred for ophthalmic investigation, a brain scan, and other medical examinations. The NLC leadership alleges that the state government was behind the attack, and Joe Ajaero is currently wearing a neck collar due to his injuries.
