NIGERIA: Victor Osimhen Secures €80 Million Transfer Deal to Saudi Arabia’s Al Ahli

Napoli has finalized a major transfer agreement with Saudi Arabian club Al Ahli, securing a deal worth between €75 and €80 million for star striker Victor Osimhen. Renowned football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano broke the news, stating, “Napoli reaches total agreement with Al Ahli for Victor Osimhen! Club to club deal done for €75/80m total package.”

Osimhen is set to join the Saudi Pro League on a lucrative four-year contract, which will see him earn approximately €40 million annually, translating to a staggering £646,154 per week, tax-free. Romano further confirmed, “Al Ahli have already booked a medical. Four-year contract worth €25/30m per season net to Osimhen + RELEASE clause.”

Osimhen’s move is expected to be one of the most significant transfers in recent times, marking a shift in his career from European football to the Middle East. Despite interest from other clubs, including Chelsea, the Nigerian striker appears set on this high-profile move, with only his final approval pending before the deal is completed.
