“Pathetic Cowards!” Aisha Yesufu Slams FG, Demands CCTV of Oyo School Kidnappers
Human rights activist Aisha Yesufu has taken a swipe at the Federal Government, demanding the release of any CCTV footage that could identify those behind the abduction of schoolchildren and teachers in Oyo State.
She maintained that exposing the kidnappers would be a better use of government efforts than focusing on political disagreements.
Yesufu made the remarks on Saturday in a post on her verified X account while reacting to the face-off between the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, and former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi.
Keyamo had called on Obi to apologise to airport authorities and pay a ₦25,000 fine over an alleged violation of parking regulations at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.
The minister’s remarks followed Obi’s recent claim that the APC-led Federal Government was targeting him and subjecting him to persistent harassment.
Reacting, Yesufu accused the government of paying attention to less important issues while insecurity continues to threaten the lives of ordinary Nigerians.
“Pathetic cowards! Let them bring out the CCTV of the kidnappers that took away children in Oyo or of the ones that have been terrorising citizens.
“Majoring in the minor is all they are freaking good at,” she wrote.
