Newly elected President, Hakainde Hichilema, tweeted Sunday evening that he would unveil his diverse cabinet to the nation after a thoughtful period about political appointments.
Hichilema, 59, was sworn-in on Tuesday, August 24, to become Zambia’s 7th president after defeating his closest rival former President Edgar Lungu with a million vote difference.
Two weeks after his innaugration, the president is yet to name his cabinet to a curious nation.
President Hichilema has assured Zambians that a full cabinet will be in place this week ahead of his maiden National Assembly address slated for September 10.
