On Wednesday afternoon, a devastating helicopter crash in Nepal claimed the lives of five individuals, including four Chinese nationals.
The helicopter, operated by Air Dynasty and piloted by Captain Arun Malla, had departed from Kathmandu at 1:54 pm with a destination of Syaprubesi, Rasuwa. Unfortunately, the aircraft never reached its intended location. DIG Dan Bahadur Karki, Nepal police spokesperson, confirmed that “all five aboard the 9N-AJD chopper perished in the crash.”
Initial reports suggest that the helicopter may have encountered severe weather conditions or technical issues, but the exact cause of the crash is still under investigation. Captain Malla was a highly experienced pilot known for his skill in navigating Nepal’s challenging terrain, adding to the shock of this tragic event. Authorities are diligently working to uncover the reasons behind the crash and ensure such incidents are prevented in the future
