Nyesom Wike, the Federal Capital Territory Minister, criticized those opposing him, particularly Governor Siminalayi Fubara, stating, “You people are digging your graves.” In a recent address to his followers within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Wike emphasized that the real conflict has yet to begin, asserting, “We have capacity.”
He expressed confidence in his faction’s strength, suggesting that the current strategies against him are ineffective, saying, “Is it working? No. It will never work.” Wike reaffirmed his commitment to the PDP while also supporting the All Progressives Congress (APC) and serving in Bola Tinubu’s administration, highlighting the ongoing tensions within Rivers State’s political landscape.
His remarks underscore a deepening rift within the party and a challenge to Fubara’s leadership.
