Lagos, Nigeria International Breweries Plc, in collaboration with the AB InBev Foundation and the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), has launched a new initiative aimed at improving road safety across Nigeria.
As part of the campaign, the company has installed 35 cautionary road signs in key locations in Lagos and donated 1,000 reflective jackets to the FRSC across five states, including Abuja.
This initiative targets critical highways in Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Onitsha, Ilesha, and Sagamu/Abeokuta, with the goal of reducing road accidents along these vital routes.
With over 10,000 road crashes reported in Nigeria in 2023, the urgency for these safety measures is clear. International Breweries Plc remains committed to supporting road safety efforts and promoting compliance with road safety regulations across the country.
“Every journey should be a safe one,” said a representative from International Breweries. “This initiative is another step towards reducing accidents and building a safer future for all road users.”
The company encourages all motorists to prioritize safety and drive responsibly, as part of their commitment to fostering a culture of road safety and ensuring a brighter future for Nigeria.
