The development comes amid growing rumours that their relationship may be facing challenges. The speculation intensified after the actress shared a series of cryptic messages on her Instagram Stories, prompting reactions from fans and followers.
An audio recording, alleged to capture Ogbodo confronting her husband over financial issues and his explanation that he had not been paid at work, also surfaced online, further fueling discussions about the state of their marriage.
A review of the couple’s Instagram accounts shows that they are no longer following each other, adding to the ongoing speculation. Neither Ogbodo nor Maris has publicly addressed the rumours.
The actress and Maris traditionally tied the knot in January 2023 after welcoming their first child together, a daughter, two years earlier. The couple later celebrated the birth of a son in October 2023.
Before marrying Maris, Ogbodo welcomed her first daughter, Mildred Chinagorom, in 2014.
