The President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, suspended Dr. Betta Edu, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management, due to an alleged N585 million scandal.
The suspension was a response to widespread anger and aims to uphold integrity and accountability. President Tinubu had ordered an inquiry into the scandal and took swift action by suspending Dr. Betta Edu from office immediately.
